Intelligent Information Systems

The basic components of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance include computers, software, visualization, networks, sensors as well as the human. The integration of these components requires a deep understanding of each of these areas as well as modeling and simulation environments that can help design and integrate these systems. This theme is currently engaged in areas such as:

  • Human-in-the-loop modeling and simulation
  • Networked intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance
  • Decision-support systems
  • Sensor and data fusion
  • Critical software verification
  • Data-mining
  • Optimisation of system design
