America Australian Association – Graduate Education Scholarships

Applications are currently being accepted for the following American Australian Association Graduate Education Scholarships for Australians to undertake full-time Graduate level study (Masters, PhD, Postdoctoral Research) in the USA for a minimum of 1 year.

Applications close 31 March 2024.

 

Graduate Education Scholarships

  • up to USD$40,000 towards travel, living, tuition and other associated costs
  • must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (dual citizens are not eligible)
  • must have been accepted into a program of study at the time of application
  • must be studying in science, technology, engineering, maths, health, medicine or sustainability

 

Aurora Indigenous Education Scholarship

  • up to USD$40,000 towards travel, living, tuition and other associated costs
  • must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (dual citizens are not eligible)
  • must be a recognized member of an Indigenous Australian or Torres Strait Islander community
  • can study in any discipline
  • do not have to have been accepted into a program of study at time of application

 

Northrop Grumman Corporation Graduate Education Scholarship

  • up to USD$40,000 towards travel, living, tuition and other associated costs
  • must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (dual citizens are not eligible)
  • must be studying Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Physics, Defence Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Mathematics
  • must have been accepted into a program of study at the time of application OR
  • may already have commenced their studies in the USA, but must have at least one-year of full-time study left

 

AUKUS Scholarship

  • up to USD$40,000 towards travel, living, tuition and other associated costs
  • must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (dual citizens are not eligible)
  • must be undertaking study with a focus on the fields of security, technology, and diplomacy. Applicants with specializations including but not limited to Pillar I and the SSN-AUKUS Submarine Program, the Pillar II fields of Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy, Quantum Technology, Advanced Cyber, Undersea Technology, Hypersonics, and Electronic Warfare, as well as the aligned capability of Innovation, specifically regarding climate and clean energy, are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • must have been accepted into a program of study at the time of application OR
  • may already have commenced their studies in the USA, but must have at least one-year of full-time study left

 

South Australia Defence, Space and Cyber Scholarship

  • up to USD$40,000 towards travel, living, tuition and other associated costs
  • must be undertaking undertaking PhD or Post-Doctoral research in the fields of Defence, Space, or Cyber Security
  • must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  •  must have affiliation, placement or letter of offer from a South Australian or American University/research institution, or agreement from their South Australian or American University/institution to undertake the proposed research project
  • must have prior knowledge or experience in Defence, Space or Cyber Security and/or a Master’s Degree in the relevant fields
