Proposals are sought from consortia led by South Australian universities and industry, with a Department of Defence participant, for projects to be funded under the DIP Activator Fund. Interstate and international consortia members are also welcome.
Up to $1.6M is available for projects under the theme of Remote Undersea Surveillance Data Processing, Analysis and Networking. Funds will be provided on a matching basis to consortia cash and in-kind contributions, with at least 25% of consortia contributions required to be cash.
Projects are expected to advance novel approaches to support development of an undersea situational awareness picture from sensor data. The focus is on autonomous sensor processing, collaborative sensing, distributed sensor networks and mission planning.
