Defense Industrial Base Consortium – Kinetic Capabilities

The DIBC is currently accepting project submissions in the area of Kinetic Capabilities, closing 30 January 2025.

Kinetic capabilities includes

  • hypersonics weapons technologies
  • counter-unmanned aerial/aircraft systems (C-UAS)
  • directed energy weapons
  • missile and munitions systems

Areas of interest include

  • systems, subsystems, components and subcomponents
  • composite materials and fibres
  • control actuation systems
  • antennas
  • precision ball bearings
  • specialty steel manufacturing
  • critical chemicals and precursors
  • polymeric materials, metals and minerals

Minimum TRL for submissions is TRL 4/5, with a preferred exit criteria of TRL 6 or above.

Minimum starting manufacturing readiness level is MRL 4, with a goal to attain a minimum of MRL 5-6, and objective to achieve MRL 7 or above.

Applicants must be DIBC members.  Australian organisations can become members.  Membership is currently free for the first year at least.
