The DIBC is currently accepting project submissions in the area of Kinetic Capabilities, closing 30 January 2025.
Kinetic capabilities includes
- hypersonics weapons technologies
- counter-unmanned aerial/aircraft systems (C-UAS)
- directed energy weapons
- missile and munitions systems
Areas of interest include
- systems, subsystems, components and subcomponents
- composite materials and fibres
- control actuation systems
- antennas
- precision ball bearings
- specialty steel manufacturing
- critical chemicals and precursors
- polymeric materials, metals and minerals
Minimum TRL for submissions is TRL 4/5, with a preferred exit criteria of TRL 6 or above.
Minimum starting manufacturing readiness level is MRL 4, with a goal to attain a minimum of MRL 5-6, and objective to achieve MRL 7 or above.
Applicants must be DIBC members. Australian organisations can become members. Membership is currently free for the first year at least.
