The Department of Defence expects to issue a Request for Proposals for the Operational Energy Transitions Defence Research Centre (OET DRC) in the near future.
The OET DRC will mobilise Australia’s universities, research agencies, industry, and international partners to generate operational energy innovations into deployable ADF capability, contributing to the realisation of the Defence Future Energy Strategy.
Establishment of the Operational Energy Transitions DRC will involve the selection of a lead partner and the selection and the commencement of research projects aligned to Defence’s Operational Energy Transition challenges.
