Applications are open for the Defence Strategic Policy Grants Program, closing 3 November 2023.
The grants provide funding for up to 3 years for projects which deepen public debate on strategic issues relevant to Australia and inform the development of Australia’s defence policy and strategy.
$3.5M is expected to be distributed across multiple projects of $50,000 to $500,000 this round.
Projects must be innovative, non-ongoing, value-adding and policy-relevant, relating to issues relevant to Australia’s strategic and defence policy choices. Projects must also relate to priorities and challenges identified in the National Defence – Defence Strategic Review 2023.
