The US Army is seeking innovative agile sustainment solutions at TRL 6 or higher in 3 capability areas:
- Autonomous, Attritable Air Delivery Systems – a means to deliver sustainment directly to point-of-need locations when airspace is contested, timelines are compressed and resupply must occur without depending on manned aviation or secure lines of communication.
- Autonomous, Attritable Surface Vessels Capable of Transporting 1-4 TEUs – long-range, autonomous surface vessels capable of transporting heavy cargo across contested open-ocean environments under multi-domain attack, alongside tactical unmanned aerial ground and undersea platforms to support dispersed formations.
- Uncrewed, Automated, Ground Delivery Systems for Logistics and Resupply Operations solutions capable of distributing payloads without relying on human drivers, while maintaining operational tempo, survivability and C2 integration in dispersed, maritime, littoral, land environments where traditional convoy operations are no longer feasible or survivable.
USD$1.5M in cash prizes is available across the competition stages:
Stage 1 – Concept White Paper – A four (4)-page concept white paper plus video of up to 5 minutes, demonstrating the technology and its suitability for participation in a live exercise. Up to 15 finalists will received a cash prize of USD$25,000 each and advance to Stage 2.
Stage 2 – Soldier Exercise – Live exercise and pitch event in Hawaii (expected to be November 2026). Up to 5 winners will receive a cash prize of USD$150,000 and the opportunity to submit for a follow-on contract or agreement.
White papers are due 17 August 2026.
