  • Supports applied research focused on refining concepts and ideas into potential solutions with a view toward evaluating technical feasibility of promising new knowledge products, pharmacologic agents, behavioral and rehabilitation interventions, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, clinical guidance and/or emerging approaches and technologies.
  • Must show potential to make significant advancements towards clinical translation

  • must address at least one of the following focus areas
    • battle-field fracture-related infection
    • composite tissue regeneration
    • limb stabilisation and protection
    • osseointegration outcomes

  • must address at least one of the following focus areas
    • ligamentous trauma
    • osseointegration outcomes
    • return-to-duty strategies
    • military women’s health
