Idea Award – W81XWH-22-PRCRP-IA – pre-apps close 25 May 2022 – up to USD$400,000 over 2 years – Supports innovative, untested, high-risk/ potentially high-reward concepts, theories, paradigms, and/or methods in cancer research -Emphasis on innovation.
Impact Award – W81XWH-22-PRCRP-IPA – pre-apps close 25 May 2022 – up to USD$1M over 3 years – Supports hypothesis-driven, high impact research – Supports research projects that, if successfully addressed, have the potential to make a near-term, major impact on one of the FY22 PRCRP Topic Areas.
Behavioral Health Science Award – W81XWH-22-PRCRP-BHSA – pre-apps close 12 July 2022 – up to USD$1M over 4 years –
Supports research that spans the spectrum of behavioral health science including prevention, survivorship, quality of life, and psychosocial research related to cancer.
Career Development Award – Fellow Option – W81XWH-22-PRCRP-CDA – pre-apps close 12 July 2022 – up to USD$400,000 over 3 years – must be within 7 years of receiving PhD – Supports early-career investigators to conduct impactful research with the mentorship of an experienced cancer researcher.
Career Development Award – Virtual Cancer Center Scholar Option – W81XWH-22-PRCRP-CDA – pre-apps close 12 July 2022 – up to USD$800,000 over 4 years – must be within 7 years of receiving PhD – Supports the addition of new early-career investigators (Scholars) to the unique, interactive virtual cancer center focused on fostering the next generation of cancer researchers.
Translational Team Science Award – W81XWH-22-PRCRP-TTSA – pre-apps close 12 July 2022 – up to USD$2.5M over 4 years – Emphasizes multi-PI, multidisciplinary collaborations – Supports translational studies associated with an ongoing or completed clinical trial that can lead to a future clinical trial or clinical application in cancer research.
Convergent Science Cancer Consortium Development Award – W81XWH-22-PRCRP-CSCCDA – pre-apps close 17 August 2022 – up to USD$2.5M over 4 years – Supports novel approaches to ending cancer through convergent science research – Emphasis is on the development of a convergent science infrastructure: Coordinating Center.
