The NAWC Aircraft Division is seeking white papers for R&D projects in topics of interest under the following broad areas:

- avionics, sensors and electronic warfare
- cyber
- data science and visualisation
- digital engineering
- human systems
- hypersonic systems
- materials and aircraft structures
- mechanical systems
- power and propulsion systems
- quantum
- secure communications and networks
- support equipment
- test and evaluation engineering
- warfare analysis
Funded amount and period of performance will vary. Historically funding of USD$160,000 – $200,000 has been awarded for projects of approximately 24 months duration.
White papers will be accepted and assessed on a rolling basis until 22 June 2026.
