Applications are now open for 2024 Westpac Scholar Research Fellowships, closing 4 September 2023.
Fellows receive a minimum of $400,000 salary support over 3 – 5 years along with Leadership training and ongoing professional development and networking opportunities.
Fellowships are offered at the University of Melbourne, ANU, the University of Melbourne or the University of Sydney and must be commenced before 30 June 2024.
Fellows must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and have been awarded their PhD between 1 September 2017 and 1 September 2020.
Research projects must contribute to one of Westpac Foundation’s four focus areas:
- Sustainable Futures
- Australia in Asia
- An Inclusive Country
- Thriving Tech Sector
and must be in a Field of Research that the host university has an Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) rating of “well above world standard”.
