Australian Signals Directorate – 2026 Graduate and Cadetship Programs

Applications are open for the 2026 ASD Graduate and Cadetship Programs, closing 6 April 2025.

 

ASD Graduate Program

  •  must be an Australian citizen
  • have completed a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree within 5 years of starting the program (can apply if you are in your final year of study)
  • will have 3 x 4-month rotations in different areas across ASD
  • employed at ASD Level 4
  • particularly looking for those interested in careers in cryptology, cyber security, data, engineering and technical, ICT, intelligence and analysis, language capability, legal, psychology, security, strategic and international policy
  • graduates are also sought who are interested in accounting and finance, administration and customer service, auditing, assurance and fraud control, human resources, information and knowledge management, infrastructure, logistics, media and communication, procurement and contracting, project and program management

 

ASD Cadetship Program

  • must be an Australian citizen
  • have completed at least 1 year and have at least 1 year remaining (in 2026) of an Australian recognised degree
  • work part-time at least 2 days per week while studying
  • employed at ASD Level 3
  • academic allowance of up $3,200 per semester of study
  • opportunities available across a range of discipline areas including accounting and finance, administration and customer service, auditing, assurance and fraud control, cryptology, cyber security, data, engineering and technical, human resources, ICT, infrastructure, intelligence and analysis, language capability, legal, logistics, media and communication, procurement and contracting, project and program management, psychology, security, strategic and international policy
