CDIC Impacted SME Support Cell (ISSC) - Attack Class Submarine Program

Defence has established an Impacted SME Support Cell inside the Centre for Defence Industry Capability to support industry adversely impacted by the cancellation of the contracts with Naval Group Australia and Lockheed Martin for the Attack Class submarine.

The cell is intended to support SMEs identify competitive opportunities, that leverages the time and effort they may have made to increase their future competitiveness for the Attack Class program, but were yet to secure a contract with Naval Group Australia or Lockheed Martin

ASC Sovereign Shipbuilding Talent Pool 

ASC partnered with the Australian Government to implement a new Sovereign Shipbuilding Talent Pool. The Talent Pool will seek to re-deploy workers on the Attack Class Submarine Program into existing and new submarine and shipbuilding programs, while building the skills needed to deliver Australia’s nuclear-powered submarine program.

Employees of Naval Group Australia and Lockheed Martin are encouraged to register their interest here.
