DARPA is requesting information regarding advances in ocean circulation modeling and novel technologies to measure ocean parameters relevant to ocean modeling.
This RFI is explicitly seeking information about emerging transformational concepts that would prevent near-term strategic or tactical surprise to national security. This includes measurements, algorithms, and models that enable fundamentally new understanding or major leaps in our ability to simulate/forecast/understand ocean processes across multiple timescales relevant to essential capabilities.
RFI respondents may be invited to participate in a workshop being planned for 29 October 2024 (in-person & virtual).
