DARPA is seeking information regarding the potential application of quantum biology to achieve breakthroughs in quantum computation and sensing.
Specifically, this RFI seeks to understand possible approaches to
- create quantum bits based on biological quantum effects that operate at ambient conditions, scale, scale and maintain and control measurable quantum properties long enough to perform operations (gates)
- create electromagnetic field (ENF) sensors based on non-trivial biological quantum effects with disruptive capabilities at ambient conditions.
Responses to this RFI are due 20 November 2024 by email to DARPA-SN-24-103@darpa.mil.
