Members of the Australian biotechnology sector are invited to participate in a workshop on emerging disruptive biotechnologies with defence and national security applications that could be realised in the next 5 – 15 years.
The workshop will take place 12 October 2023.
Hosted by Defence and the SABRE Alliance, the workshop will be structured around
- human biotechnology
- synthetic biology
- artificial intelligence
- threat detection
Submissions regarding biotechnologies outside these areas will also be considered.
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to
- understand and shape the conversation about the role of emerging biotech in the Australian Defence context
- make biotech connections with DSTG and the wider Defence community
- get your biotech ideas in front of Defence
