Applications are now open for the 2025 DSTG NAVIGATE Program, closing 14 April 2025.
NAVIGATE is all about transitioning high performing and experienced researchers, academics and STEM professionals into rewarding Defence science and technology careers, bringing their skills to high priority areas for defence and national security.
NAVIGATE participants undertake two six-month rotations in different parts of the Defence STEM ecosystem, with training and leadership development opportunities, along with mentoring, before transitioning into permanent roles with Defence.
NAVIGATE positions are located in Queensland, South Australia, NSW, ACT, Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania.
Applicants must be Australian citizens, with a Masters or PhD in any STEM discipline (or equivalent experience) and be at least 5 years post Masters/PhD.
