DST will host the Land Science and Innovation (LSI) Conference at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre as part of Land Forces 2020 on 2nd and 3rd of September this year.
Land Science and Innovation 2020 (LSI2020), formerly known as Future Land Force Conference, is Australia’s premier event for defence researchers, industry professionals, and academics interested in transforming the military land force through science and technology. This year, the conference will address the question of how science and technology can help a modern land force to prepare and design for accelerating change across cooperation, competition and conflict.
LSI2020 will include invited and technical presentations, interactive sessions, and a panel discussion with well-regarded national and international defence science, industry and military representatives. You are invited to submit an extended abstract to either the innovation stream describing leading-edge technological advancements and human interventions that will enable the future land force to keep pace with accelerated warfare, or to the research stream covering novel concepts, validated models and potential solutions to the accelerated warfare challenges.
LSI2020 accepts submissions that are up to two pages long (as of the LSI template) and are submitted via EasyChair by 8 May 2020. Students can apply for registration sponsorship. LSI2020 is organised in the following two streams.
