Nominations are now open for the following SIAM Prizes, closing 31 July 2023:
SIAM Activity Group on Supercomputing Best Paper Prize
- the paper must be published in the peer-reviewed journal between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2023
- at least one of the authors must be a SAIG/SC member at time of publication
- paper must be nominated by at least two individuals
SIAM Activity Group on Supercomputing Career Prize
- awarded to an outstanding senior researcher who has made broad and distinguished contributions to the field of algorithms research and development for scientific and engineering computing
- must have received the PhD no later than 2009
SIAM Activity Group on Supercomputing Early Career Prize
- awarded to an individual in their early career for outstanding research contributions in the field of algorithms research and development for parallel scientific and engineering computing in the previous three years
- work must be a significant research contribution to algorithms for parallel computing in science and engineering
- paper/s must have been published between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2023 in English in a peer-reviewed journal or conference
- candidate must have been warded their PhD no earlier than 2018 or be a current graduate student
SIAM Activity Group on Uncertainty Quantification Early Career Prize
- awarded to an individual in their early career for outstanding research contributions in the field of uncertainty quantification in the previous three years
- work must contain significant research contributions to the field of uncertainty quantification
- paper/s must have been published between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2023 in English in a peer-reviewed journal or conference
- candidate must have been warded their PhD no earlier than 2018 or be a current graduate student
