DSI was privileged to host the Victorian Innovation Precinct at Land Forces 2024.
Joining us on the stand to showcase Victorian SME innovation at its nest were Swoop Aero, FLAIM Systems, Amiga Engineering, Quickstep, 1 Millikelvin and Lunar Outpost.
Land Forces this year saw many of our partner universities having a presence, with demonstrations of the capability and kit held by our academic institutions, including RMIT, Deakin University, Swinburne University of Technology, the University of Melbourne and the Australian Maritime College at the University of Tasmania.
2024 also saw the Innovation PitchFest become part of the wider Land Forces Innovation Awards which saw awards go to
- Shane ‘Buzz’ Sarlin of Buzzworks – Innovation Award
- Daniel Stevens of Seitec – Emerging Technology Award
- Tara Penboss of Black Sky Industries – Young Innovator Award
- Katie Donaldson of Praxis – Best Pitch Award.
