Applications are open for STEMM ECRs to paticipate in the ABC Top 5 Media Residence Program – Science, closing 5 May 2024.
The residency is a two-week media residency presented by ABC Radio National in partnership with the Australian National Centre for Public Awareness of Science at ANU.
Applicants must
- be enrolled in a PhD program or hold a PhD and employed at an Australian university or research organisation
- be an Australian citizen or resident with a current valid work visa
- be available to participate in the 2-week residency in Sydney in September 2024.
- if you have your PhD, you must be within 7 seven years of conferral (or longer if combined with periods of significant career disruption)
The residency program equips graduates with the skills, knowledge and confidence to communicate with media and their audiences about their field of expertise.
