The Victorian Government Regional Launching Pads pilot program will help investors and businesses connect with each other and with Government to support collaboration on projects to drive regional economic growth.

The launching pads provide a unique opportunity to connect with Regional Development Victoria’s teams in Ballarat, Bendigo, Morwell, Wangaratta and Melbourne by opening pathways for ongoing engagement with Government and providing bookable working spaces.

The RDV teams can help take projects and initiatives from idea to delivery, while providing specialised knowledge of local and regional advantages.

Regional Launching Pads are set up to support:

  • small regional businesses looking to expand
  • larger, established businesses that have an interest in sharing knowledge and expertise
  • metro-based or international businesses looking to expand their operations into regional Victoria
  • investors interested in building and expanding small, regionally based businesses to help them realise their potential
  • other sectors that support regional economic growth.

To access Regional Launching Pad service, you must be:

  • an active business currently conducting or planning to conduct operations in regional Victoria, or
  • an investor actively seeking opportunities in regional Victoria, including in one or more of regional Victoria’s priority sectors of:
    • advanced manufacturing and defence
