Amazon Applied Science Internships provide 6 months experience working with multi-disciplinary teams using deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing algorithms and large data sets to solve real world problems.
Internships can be undertaken at the Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney Amazon offices.
Amazon is looking for people who
- are recently graduated with or currently enrolled in a PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related fields, with specialisation in machine learning
- preferably have experience in computer vision, recommender systems, deep learning, NLP or related fields
- have strong programming skills and preferably a working knowledge of Python
Previous research experience in computer vision, deep learning, NLP or broader machine learning will be look on favourably, as will publications in top-tier publications.
