The DIBC is a US Department of Defence-funded initiative that aims to enable rapid research and allow access to commercial solutions for defense requirements and innovations from industry, academia and non-traditional contractors to Defense under simplified contracting arrangements.
The Consortium provides access to funding opportunities and potential collaboration partners, guidance on Government contracting, networking and information.
Membership of the Consortium is currently free and has recently opened to Australian, Canadian and UK entities
To become a member, non-US entities must have a NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) code (available here) and a US Government Unique Entity Identifier, available via registration with the US System for Award Management (SAM) ( available here.)
