Australian Space Agency – Public Consultation – Policy for Australian Sustainability of Space Activities

twitterlinkedin

The Australian Space Agency is seeking input on a potential Australian sustainability of space activities policy.

The proposed policy includes three different elements of the sustainability of civil space activities in Australia:

  • Economy – considers the growth and resilience of the sector through the adoption of sustainable business practices
  • Environmental – considers the transition to net zero and a more circular economy
  • Social – considers the cohesiveness and fairness of society.

Feedback can include views on the policy’s vision and themes, priority of each theme and the role of the Australian Government and other stakeholders.

Feedback is due Friday 8 November 2024.

A public information webinar will be 23 October 2024register here.
