The US Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle System Center seeks white papers and proposals for cutting edge, innovative research in the technical areas below. Proposers are strongly encouraged to contact the relevant listed Technical Point of Contact prior to beginning their submission.
Proposals will be accepted until 31 December 2026.

- Ground Vehicle Materials Engineering – structural metallic materials; structural composite materials; welding; adhesives; fasteners; advanced manufacturing; high strain rate characterization; high throughput characterization; materials for thermal management; feedstock development for additive manufacturing; machine learning for manufacturing; integrated sample preparation.
- Ground Vehicle Power and Mobility – track impact on vibration; track throw; track vehicle road wheel force transducer; tracked vehicle external strut conversion; active track tensioner; full cell technology; hydrogen technology; nextgen advanced power dense wide gap switching devices; nextgen advanced inverter; rare-earth magnetic free electric sprocket drives and generators; ML based optimized power electronics design; advanced energy storage technologies for Army vehicle applications; tracked vehicle series hybrid propulsion for light-to-medium combat vehicles; electric turbocharger for improved engine efficiency within combat and tactical applications; electrified track transmission propulsion systems; common transmission software.
- Ground Vehicle Electrical Power System – power system architecture up to 1.5MW; advanced power electronic design; AI/ML in power management systems; wireless power transfer; power system physical interfaces.
- Ground Vehicle Survivability and Protection – projectile deceleration by pulsing a magnetic field; survivability basic and applied research; improved transparent armour materials, manufacturing and integration.
- Ground Vehicle Robotics – autonomous systems.
- Bridging Life Cycle Engineering – bridge health monitoring system.
